Unax Luengas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luiz Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the LOS CHELINES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Mazza couldn't finish the play. Afonso Baía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Astola in the 21st minute of the match. CD Cutuntza's Álvaro Montero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Mazza in the 23rd minute of play. Álvaro Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Mazza in the 25th minute of the match. Álvaro Montero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Mazza's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when LOS CHELINES's Luiz Mazza in the 36th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Álvaro Montero was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for CD Cutuntza through an amazing save. Álvaro Montero made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Armando Rocafort sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, LOS CHELINES's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Astola came free, but Afonso Baía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, LOS CHELINES's Armando Rocafort nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Álvaro Montero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Unax Luengas made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOS CHELINES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximo Bengochea was slow to take the kick. During this time CD Cutuntza's players had a chance to rest. The corner led CD Cutuntza's Xavian Checa to fire away a dangerous shot which Afonso Baía despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Álvaro Montero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melquiades Pujol went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 57 played minutes LOS CHELINES got a freekick which was hit by Diego Lombas. Álvaro Montero came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS CHELINES's Vivaldo Eger. But to his dismay, Vivaldo Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Álvaro Montero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Pujol's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When LOS CHELINES's Melquiades Pujol in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Cutuntza's goalie prevented a goal. If Unax Luengas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Lombas in the 71st minute of the match. Álvaro Montero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Lombas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ortiz Montejo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, CD Cutuntza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unax Luengas to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes LOS CHELINES got a freekick which was hit by Diego Lombas. Álvaro Montero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Lombas in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Melquiades Pujol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of LOS CHELINES booed when CD Cutuntza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerson Calleja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, LOS CHELINES's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Abella came free, but Afonso Baía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LOS CHELINES had won after a very even match.
