PECH's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, PECH's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Frigo came free, but Yago Castañera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yago Castañera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Urtsin in the 10th minute of the match. PECH's Yago Castañera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dom Gamble in the 11th minute of play. RACING CLUB were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after PECH's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lautaro Frigo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alin Dima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yago Castañera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Solorzano in the 14th minute of play forced PECH's goalkeeper Yago Castañera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Cagua Rado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RACING CLUB's Ambrosio Tancredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 47 played minutes PECH got a freekick which was hit by Camacho Jiron. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Solorzano made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, RACING CLUB's Lautaro Frigo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. With a little luck, PECH's Yago Castañera got control of the ball when Alin Dima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Solorzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yago Castañera having to interfere. In the 67th minute of the match PECH got a corner. RACING CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Serrato ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Cagua Rado heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ambrosio Tancredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camacho Jiron in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, RACING CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Frigo to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Urtsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Yago Castañera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Cagua Rado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PECH booed when RACING CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Santiyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Tancredo came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by PECH's Camacho Jiron. But to his dismay, Camacho Jiron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 92nd minute of the match PECH got a corner. RACING CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Serrato ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eustaquio Solorzano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Yago Castañera made a huge save. RACING CLUB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
