Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when John Gox kicked off to start the match. Klimovich Pedronera came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by LOS CHELINES's Melquiades Pujol. But to his dismay, Melquiades Pujol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Armando Rocafort ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klimovich Pedronera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Klimovich Pedronera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Pujol's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Armando Rocafort had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klimovich Pedronera. Cuenca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Rocafort was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. LOS CHELINES's Luiz Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Rocafort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klimovich Pedronera having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, LOS CHELINES's Armando Rocafort sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klimovich Pedronera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Armando Rocafort had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klimovich Pedronera. Cuenca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Rocafort was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 31st minute Luiz Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klimovich Pedronera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, LOS CHELINES's Armando Rocafort made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klimovich Pedronera was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Melquiades Pujol came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the LOS CHELINES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Pujol couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Cuenca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Mazza came free, but Klimovich Pedronera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cuenca FC defense, Melquiades Pujol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klimovich Pedronera. The Cuenca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klimovich Pedronera should have stopped the shot. After the first half LOS CHELINES were leading 1-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Rocafort made a kick off. Cortez Del Piero's late challenge caught a Cuenca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cortez Del Piero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Cortez Del Piero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vivaldo Eger scored 1-9 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klimovich Pedronera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Rocafort got free with Klimovich Pedronera in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 played minutes Cuenca FC got a freekick which was hit by Candelario Arainz. Cuenca FC's Klimovich Pedronera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Rocafort in the 76th minute of play. If Diego Lombas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klimovich Pedronera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With a little luck, Cuenca FC's Klimovich Pedronera got control of the ball when Diego Lombas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Mazza struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Klimovich Pedronera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS CHELINES. Klimovich Pedronera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Rocafort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Candelario Arainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klimovich Pedronera was a little too slow when Diego Lombas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-11.
