An unexpectedly hard shot by German Frade in the 4th minute of play forced Hincha Pelotas FC's goalkeeper Hendrik van Eijnde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes TITANS FC got a freekick which was hit by Cumali Aysan. In the 30th match minute, TITANS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joao Kroos to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Larrategui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ismael Larrategui came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hincha Pelotas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Larrategui couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in TITANS FC's zone, Espínola Labandera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Onofre came out of the goal and Espínola Labandera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Espínola Labandera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Onofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Larrategui in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Onofre saved TITANS FC from getting behind.

The wind increased when Ismael Larrategui made the kick off in the second half. Espínola Labandera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Onofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, Hincha Pelotas FC's Hendrik van Eijnde got control of the ball when Yépez Goztros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramiro Onofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Larrategui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. León Onez struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ramiro Onofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hincha Pelotas FC. Hincha Pelotas FC's Rodriguez Cianca was substituted for Zumar Bas. Yépez Goztros hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ismael Larrategui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Onofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes, Hincha Pelotas FC's Alvarez Pierredonda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramiro Onofre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hincha Pelotas FC reached it. In the 74th minute Espínola Labandera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Onofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, TITANS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Melon to maneuver through the defense. When Vistruario Bengoa fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hincha Pelotas FC's protests and gave Vistruario Bengoa a yellow card for diving instead.
