Yago Castañera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wellington Astola showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. CD Cutuntza's Álvaro Montero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Serrato in the 9th minute of play. Yago Castañera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Abella in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the PECH defense, Unax Luengas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yago Castañera. The PECH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yago Castañera should have stopped the shot. PECH were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after CD Cutuntza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leo Serrato took the corner. PECH's Leo Serrato was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Álvaro Montero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leo Serrato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Álvaro Montero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Montero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Serrato, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, CD Cutuntza's Patricio Cepa got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Yader Divaichin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Unax Luengas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yago Castañera. The goal made the score 3-0. István Gácsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yago Castañera having to interfere. István Gácsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Yago Castañera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington Astola charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A wasted opportunity for PECH. The supporters of PECH booed when CD Cutuntza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Cepa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes PECH got a freekick which was hit by Estacio Larrimbe. After recieving a nice pass, CD Cutuntza's Xusto Zuloaga tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Serrato made a kick off. The supporters of PECH booed when CD Cutuntza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. István Gácsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yago Castañera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unax Luengas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Geovanni Abella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yago Castañera was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Leo Serrato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Álvaro Montero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yago Castañera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Unax Luengas in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yago Castañera saved PECH from getting behind. István Gácsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yago Castañera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unax Luengas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Serrato's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Álvaro Montero firmly grabbed it by the left post.
