An unexpectedly hard shot by Unax Luengas in the 9th minute of play forced E-xplosión Blue 8k's goalkeeper Roger Miguelez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Miguelez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Gácsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Simon Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the E-xplosión Blue 8k fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Ayala couldn't finish the play. Simon Ayala got in the 21st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Álvaro Montero handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Simon Ayala might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Álvaro Montero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Ayala ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Ayala in the 22nd minute of play forced CD Cutuntza's goalkeeper Álvaro Montero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Unax Luengas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Miguelez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When István Gácsi fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Cutuntza's protests and gave István Gácsi a yellow card for diving instead. István Gácsi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Unax Luengas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Simon Ayala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Montero. CD Cutuntza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Ayala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 71st minute Simon Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. E-xplosión Blue 8k's Roger Miguelez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Abella in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Simon Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot. E-xplosión Blue 8k's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Ayala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Montero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. E-xplosión Blue 8k made a substitution. Yago Cortada replaced Simon Ayala. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yago Cortada in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Montero saved CD Cutuntza from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yago Cortada in the 87th minute of play forced CD Cutuntza's goalkeeper Álvaro Montero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 崔竞常's late challenge caught a CD Cutuntza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
