In the 17th minute, Ismael Larrategui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yago Castañera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Larrategui, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yader Divaichin during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PECH's Yader Divaichin got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the PECH defense, Ismael Larrategui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yago Castañera. The PECH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yago Castañera should have stopped the shot. When Hincha Pelotas FC's Ismael Larrategui in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PECH's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ismael Larrategui kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yago Castañera. Santo Largacha hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, PECH's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Larrategui came free, but Yago Castañera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hincha Pelotas FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Zumar Bas hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Ismael Larrategui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yago Castañera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PECH's Estacio Larrimbe got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute of the match, Ismael Larrategui tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yago Castañera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Estacio Larrimbe charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Estacio Larrimbe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Estacio Larrimbe hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Cagua Rado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik van Eijnde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Yago Castañera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentine Corias, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Yago Castañera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentine Corias in the 73rd minute of play. The corner ended in Alvarez Pierredonda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PECH's Yago Castañera did a great save. If Valentine Corias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose-Antonio Goñi during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hincha Pelotas FC booed when PECH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose-Antonio Goñi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hincha Pelotas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hincha Pelotas FC had won after a very even match.
