The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvaro Froiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Ayala in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to C. D. Evolucion getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zuzen Saldivar hit a great ball. E-xplosión Blue 8k's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Alvaro Froiz scored to the left of an out of position Roger Miguelez, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of E-xplosión Blue 8k booed when C. D. Evolucion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zuzen Saldivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan-Carlos Rosal kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Federico Jaraba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Lordi having to interfere. Alvaro Froiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger Miguelez came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvaro Froiz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 32nd minute. Teofilo Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Jaraba in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, C. D. Evolucion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Clinckspoor to maneuver through the defense. E-xplosión Blue 8k's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Jaraba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Froiz to strike the kick off in the second half. E-xplosión Blue 8k's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. D. Evolucion the free kick. In the 93rd minute, E-xplosión Blue 8k's Simon Ayala dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. E-xplosión Blue 8k's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
