In the 18th minute Urrutia Chavarria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guamán Arramendia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siete de Octubre's Fausto Sotres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Siete de Octubre from getting a goal against them. Guamán Arramendia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urrutia Chavarria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Papa Frita Futbol Club's Guamán Arramendia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urrutia Chavarria in the 23rd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zarbonin Giraldo made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Urrutia Chavarria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guamán Arramendia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Urrutia Chavarria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guamán Arramendia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urrutia Chavarria in the 66th minute. But to his dismay, Urrutia Chavarria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The Papa Frita Futbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Siete de Octubre were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
