Carlier Quinn F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oxarra Bernaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. But to his dismay, Leo Løhr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oxarra Bernaldo in the 91st minute of play forced Carlier Quinn F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Latonero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliviero Quintanilla kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Oxarra Bernaldo sped through Carlier Quinn F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luis Latonero. There was no doubt that C. D. Guayaquil were the better team. C. D. Guayaquil's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
