Yoelvis Marfa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Løhr, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Flor Zabalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Aires Cendegui made a huge save. Ismael Montxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Aires Cendegui made a huge save. Emilio Vendrell charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Vendrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Perrando Urive sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, C. D. Guayaquil's Leo Løhr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yoelvis Marfa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. CD Billanos's Yoelvis Marfa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perrando Urive in the 37th minute of play. Leo Løhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Yoelvis Marfa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, CD Billanos's goal looked a bit too open when Oxarra Bernaldo came free, but Yoelvis Marfa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oxarra Bernaldo was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oxarra Bernaldo in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yoelvis Marfa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oxarra Bernaldo took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yoelvis Marfa. Yoelvis Marfa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 58th minute, C. D. Guayaquil's Perrando Urive dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After a rather tough play, CD Billanos's Estrada Finez got a free kick in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Oxarra Bernaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Yoelvis Marfa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When C. D. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oxarra Bernaldo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoelvis Marfa saved CD Billanos from getting behind. After a rather tough play, CD Billanos's Estrada Finez got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, C. D. Guayaquil's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Vendrell came free, but Aires Cendegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oxarra Bernaldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Yoelvis Marfa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. C. D. Guayaquil played a much better game than CD Billanos and deserved their victory. The CD Billanos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
