Club Deportivo Santiago's Santino Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Machado Santianes in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Emanuel Sueiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santino Mora. Emanuel Sueiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Emanuel Sueiro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santino Mora. Santino Mora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Sueiro got free with Santino Mora in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santino Mora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Machado Santianes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Montiel to strike the kick off in the second half. When Independiente del Río's Emanuel Sueiro in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Deportivo Santiago's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute, Machado Santianes made a precise shot to the right of Santino Mora. With an all-out effort, Club Deportivo Santiago's Yin Cheng Han threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zuberoa Mesia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
