The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arévalo Urrutia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of YerBaTerOs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arévalo Urrutia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of YerBaTerOs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Liga de Quito:s goal. Zoil Soltero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodríguez Tome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoil Soltero in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoil Soltero in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodríguez Tome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 played minutes Liga de Quito got a freekick which was hit by 俞骏桦. YerBaTerOs's Villegas Villagarcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucien Senden in the 21st minute of play. Liga de Quito's Rodríguez Tome proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Liga de Quito from getting a goal against them. Zoil Soltero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodríguez Tome having to make a save. Villegas Villagarcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iachetti Bernabeytia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villegas Villagarcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iachetti Bernabeytia in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Liga de Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Zoil Soltero came free, but Rodríguez Tome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodríguez Tome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoil Soltero in the 41st minute of the match. YerBaTerOs's Lucio Bruna was substituted for Héctor Gordon. The wind increased when 孟轩青 made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match YerBaTerOs got a corner. Liga de Quito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ascencio Puente ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Bruna in the 58th minute of play forced Liga de Quito's goalkeeper Rodríguez Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Liga de Quito were awarded a corner. Machado Pedrero went to the cornerflag to take it. Liga de Quito's Machado Pedrero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Villegas Villagarcia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. YerBaTerOs were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Liga de Quito's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ascencio Puente took the corner. Andres Anguciana kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Zoil Soltero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rodríguez Tome was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Xayvion Borrajo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 played minutes Liga de Quito got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Santikurtz. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The YerBaTerOs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Liga de Quito had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
