The corner ended in Mauricio Froylan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ............'s Roman Masharov did a great save. After 40 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Luis Barbas. FC Philotimo's Alejandro Chorache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Xose Herran in the 42 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Tartales in the 45th minute of play forced FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Vitomir Vutov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Philotimo's Vitomir Vutov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Tartales in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
