In the 17th minute of the match Diaz Mota sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilmar Quadros skillfully saved the ball. Zacarias Cabrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perlaza Lena in the 23rd minute of play. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Gentenaar in the 26th minute of play. Zacarias Cabrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Gentenaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Barcelona de América's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Perlaza Lena in the 27th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Félix Fermosel in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Azul Y Plomo's Hector-Luis Arzola. Gilmar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector-Luis Arzola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona de América's zone, Tor Bern stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilmar Quadros came out of the goal and Tor Bern tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Cabrero came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona de América's Elias Pettersson. But to his dismay, Elias Pettersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tor Bern to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Levandowsky in the 57th minute of play forced Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Zacarias Cabrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azul Y Plomo's Valdo Doral was substituted for Hector-Luis Arzola. 64 minutes into the game, Nicolas Diniz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barcelona de América's Bradford Scalzo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Barcelona de América's Robin Puttemans was substituted for Perlaza Lena. Gilmar Quadros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Barcelona de América were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Azul Y Plomo for a fine match.
