Ospetsu Peñacerrada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Clis Cañaveral made a huge save. If Etor Villamediana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Palamates's Ospetsu Peñacerrada got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clis Cañaveral made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ospetsu Peñacerrada sent off a good shot on target. Sindo Noreña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Etor Villamediana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Xavierlada Barnuevo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Ubidea in the 22nd minute of play forced Palamates's goalkeeper Xavierlada Barnuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maragua's Angelino Ubidea got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Maragua's Clis Cañaveral got control of the ball when Ospetsu Peñacerrada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maragua's Etor Villamediana got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sindo Noreña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Clis Cañaveral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ospetsu Peñacerrada's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When Emesto Somoza fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maragua's protests and gave Emesto Somoza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, Maragua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emesto Somoza to maneuver through the defense. Venerando Bobadilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edilberto Zarzuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Palamates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilbo Riancho to maneuver through the defense. Sindo Noreña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Clis Cañaveral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindo Noreña in the 87th minute of play forced Maragua's goalkeeper Clis Cañaveral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavierlada Barnuevo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Maragua's Venerando Bobadilla. But to his dismay, Venerando Bobadilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
