The audience thought a goal was coming when Unai Cavite got free with Quirze Sobrevilla in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Mochacabezas AFC's zone, Denis Gargante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quirze Sobrevilla came out of the goal and Denis Gargante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Gargante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quirze Sobrevilla having to interfere. If Unai Cavite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quirze Sobrevilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Gargante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urki Coronel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Unai Cavite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Urki Coronel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mochacabezas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC BARCELONA the free kick. Severiano Dorrego shot from long distance in the 24th minute, but Quirze Sobrevilla was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 29th minute of the match Cai Bildosteguy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celedonio Castañondo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Unai Cavite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Unai Cavite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Denis Gargante managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BARCELONA's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Gargante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quirze Sobrevilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Mochacabezas AFC's goalkeeper Quirze Sobrevilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Unai Cavite. Unai Cavite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quirze Sobrevilla having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Gargante in the 42nd minute of play forced Mochacabezas AFC's goalkeeper Quirze Sobrevilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Denis Gargante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quirze Sobrevilla was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Denis Gargante made the kick off in the second half. Denis Gargante took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quirze Sobrevilla. Quirze Sobrevilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 61 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Celedonio Castañondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralondo Berar. Celedonio Castañondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralondo Berar went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Unai Cavite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unai Cavite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Tomas Ocerin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Castañondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mochacabezas AFC's Quirze Sobrevilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Gargante in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Mochacabezas AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Urki Coronel hit a great ball. When Unai Cavite came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC BARCELONA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Unai Cavite couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Unai Cavite in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quirze Sobrevilla saved Mochacabezas AFC from getting behind. The FC BARCELONA fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when FC BARCELONA's Denis Gargante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Severiano Dorrego took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quirze Sobrevilla. Mochacabezas AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the FC BARCELONA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
