Pirmin Socarras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Candelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Casado Bustillo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pirmin Socarras skillfully saved the ball. Mendoza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Candelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Gonsalve Villegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
