When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Inocencio Artime sped through Tonina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ereinotz Gigante. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paquito Labandera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Campa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selatse Secanell having to interfere. Tonina were furious when Weterio Olivos was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Tonina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cabarcas:s goal. Tonina:s Ereinotz Gigante showed great skill when he stopped Nesto Urtaran:s penalty. Cabarcas were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Tonina's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nesto Urtaran took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cabarcas's corner Nesto Urtaran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ereinotz Gigante quite easily take care of the ball. Ur Olaisola charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ur Olaisola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ur Olaisola hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ereinotz Gigante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Artime in the 84th minute of play. Cabarcas's Selatse Secanell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Campa in the 88th minute of play. Tonina's Melquiades Campa got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paquito Labandera kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Nesto Urtaran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabarcas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nesto Urtaran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ereinotz Gigante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
