Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Niko Riippa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the match, Marrenos's goalkeeper Iker Zaldos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niko Riippa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaniusky Santo in the 12th minute of play forced Piramides's goalkeeper Natalio Benitez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Piramides's Niko Riippa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Niko Riippa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Zaldos. Marrenos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niko Riippa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Natalio Benitez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaniusky Santo in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Niko Riippa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Iker Zaldos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Piramides's Niko Riippa got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Niko Riippa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 minutes, Arotza Mareide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piramides and the Marrenos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Piramides got a freekick which was hit by Arotza Mareide. Gaztea Herriaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Natalio Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marrenos's Iker Zaldos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Riaza in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Marrenos's zone, Niko Riippa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Zaldos came out of the goal and Niko Riippa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zemario Guillarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Niko Riippa put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Iker Zaldos. 59 minutes into the game, Niko Riippa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Iker Zaldos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 70 played minutes Piramides got a freekick which was hit by Oxarra Toralino. 72 minutes into the match, Piramides's goal looked a bit too open when Zemario Guillarte came free, but Natalio Benitez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaztea Herriaga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natalio Benitez. That made the score 5-1 in the 73 minute of play. 80 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Marrenos's Zemario Guillarte fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 90 minutes into the game, Niko Riippa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Iker Zaldos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Niko Riippa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Piramides fully deserved thier win.
