But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janpier Henao couldn't finish the play. If Silvio Onez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Janpier Henao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayabitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Janpier Henao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romano Marquina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Onez in the 28th minute of play. Talquito FC's Elorri Zazo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janpier Henao in the 29th minute of play. Valentine Eguizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Janpier Henao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayabitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Janpier Henao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elorri Zazo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eulalio Mascire charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Benino Tamez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvio Onez was the one to do the kick off. If Valentine Eguizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Guayabitos's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Onez came free, but Romano Marquina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Talquito FC were awarded a corner. Teodoro Perejon went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Teodoro Perejon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romano Marquina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Silvio Onez took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romano Marquina. Romano Marquina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Elorri Zazo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janpier Henao in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guayabitos's zone, Valentine Eguizabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romano Marquina came out of the goal and Valentine Eguizabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Guillem Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayabitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talquito FC the free kick. Talquito FC's Silvio Onez got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
