The supporters of Mateguana FC booed when Scorpionsco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aresti Setien didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes, Mateguana FC's Xanti Sobero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ikatz Avedillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mateguana FC reached it. Ikatz Avedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleazar Rocha in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, one of Scorpionsco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Scorpionsco. Ikatz Avedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Fondos in the 23rd minute of the match. Balasi Angeriz struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jorge Arnaez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scorpionsco. Estefan Garandia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jorge Arnaez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scorpionsco's Balasi Angeriz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Ontiveros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Arnaez having to interfere. Javier Ontiveros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Balasi Angeriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Balasi Angeriz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Amaya in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Arnaez saved Mateguana FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Eleazar Rocha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ikatz Avedillo. That made the score 0-2 in the 92 minute of play. Jorge Arnaez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Ontiveros in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Scorpionsco lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
