The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Licerio Herces fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordarell Balmaceda having to interfere. When Licerio Herces came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Merces FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Licerio Herces couldn't finish the play. Licerio Herces received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Merces FC's Denis Sañudo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Merces FC from getting a goal against them. Denis Sañudo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Markvincent Bolinaga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Licerio Herces scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cordarell Balmaceda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Markvincent Bolinaga made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Merces FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gaspar Zuri hit a great ball. Cordarell Balmaceda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Licerio Herces showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 60 minute of play. Demario Orduña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Merces FC booed when Golden Devils United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phelipe Lorenzana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Golden Devils United F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Demario Orduña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Golden Devils United F.C.'s goalkeeper Cordarell Balmaceda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demario Orduña. Licerio Herces took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cordarell Balmaceda. Cordarell Balmaceda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. A hard shot 99 in the game by Demario Orduña from a close distance when the talented Cordarell Balmaceda managed to make a qualified save. Golden Devils United F.C.'s players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded Merces FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Golden Devils United F.C..
