Xaime Ugalde's late challenge caught a Cali FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xaime Ugalde helped the player get up and apologised. Xaime Ugalde kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Korotto FC's zone, Xepe Ayensa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isadoro Granja came out of the goal and Xepe Ayensa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Aimar Selgas put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Isadoro Granja. Betadur Trillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quirze Garnelo having to interfere. Ramos Gorria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betadur Trillo made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Placido Monedero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Korotto FC and the Cali FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Korotto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Monedero to maneuver through the defense. Cali FC's Quirze Garnelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramos Gorria in the 57th minute of play. Aimar Selgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isadoro Granja having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Xepe Ayensa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 68 minutes into the match, Korotto FC's goalkeeper Isadoro Granja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aimar Selgas. After 72 played minutes Cali FC got a freekick which was hit by Leheren Ollacuria. Ramos Gorria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Quirze Garnelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betadur Trillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buinton Betanzos's late challenge caught a Korotto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Buinton Betanzos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Buinton Betanzos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guilllermo Parra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Quirze Garnelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramos Gorria in the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Heli Pelaci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cali FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Korotto FC the free kick. 94 minutes into the match, Xepe Ayensa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isadoro Granja, 2-2. The Cali FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Korotto FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
