Bajira FC's Matias Macilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orzaize Veloso in the 6th minute of play. Feliz Salcedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Macilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orzaize Veloso in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliz Salcedo in the 22nd minute of play forced Bajira FC's goalkeeper Matias Macilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Orzaize Veloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Macilla was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Zelipe Mazorra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Feliz Salcedo spun around in front of the goal 55 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bajira FC's goal. 60 minutes into the match, Marquez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quintin Aldama came free, but Zelipe Mazorra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zelipe Mazorra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quintin Aldama's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 64th match minute, Bajira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pitin Acedo to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes Marquez FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Lagunez. In the 74th match minute, Bajira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Adames to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute of the match Marquez FC got a corner. Bajira FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelito Picado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bajira FC's goalie and right to Tristan Velo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bajira FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 85th minute Quintin Aldama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zelipe Mazorra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bajira FC's Matias Macilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Bajira FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Marquez FC defense, Quintin Aldama kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zelipe Mazorra. The Marquez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zelipe Mazorra should have stopped the shot. Marquez FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
