When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Macerio Melendez made a kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Brañas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 63 played minutes León de oro FC got a freekick which was hit by Iztal Barona. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naelio Acutain in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Brañas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Millrick Matute fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tutasa FC's protests and gave Millrick Matute a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tutasa FC's Millrick Matute got a free kick in the 67th minute. León de oro FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 69th minute of the game, when Gartzea Canellas after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Tutasa FC's goal. Gartzea Canellas was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. When Machado Ibaute came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Tutasa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Machado Ibaute couldn't finish the play. If Iztal Barona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efraim Nuevo's late challenge caught a León de oro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. León de oro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
