Karlo Ageitos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Eleazar Villalobos made a huge save. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Teresita's goalkeeper Eleazar Villalobos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Teresita's Umbruso Gredilla in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Mambila FC's zone, Umbruso Gredilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Cardeño came out of the goal and Umbruso Gredilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batista Cardeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urki Pinos in the 38th minute of the match. Umbruso Gredilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batista Cardeño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Tabb Iban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bakar Soveron fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mambila FC's protests and gave Bakar Soveron a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mambila FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Bakar Soveron hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Urki Pinos made the kick off in the second half. Batista Cardeño made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Umbruso Gredilla sent off a good shot on target. Urki Pinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Cardeño having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mambila FC's goalkeeper Batista Cardeño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santana Frontera hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taurino Suesa during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Teresita getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Taurino Suesa hit a great ball. If Tabb Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batista Cardeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urki Pinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umbruso Gredilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urki Pinos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 74 minutes into the match, Teresita's Umbruso Gredilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Batista Cardeño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tabb Iban in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleazar Villalobos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karlo Ageitos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Teresita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
