Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Piginio's zone, Oidor Abascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Calahorra came out of the goal and Oidor Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piginio's Fabio Calahorra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oidor Abascal in the 7th minute of play. Erroman Lizaso kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Piginio booed when Tiogollo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferrer Fortea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Gau Sordo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piginio's Fabio Calahorra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gar Gorbin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Otsando Isoba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Otsando Isoba was a little too slow when Teyo Casquete got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Gar Gorbin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Otsando Isoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferrer Fortea kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Fabio Calahorra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gau Sordo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Piginio defense, Gau Sordo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Calahorra. The Piginio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Calahorra should have stopped the shot. Otsando Isoba stood somewhat misplaced when Teyo Casquete came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 40 minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
