Raulo Santatis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Abella having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Iraitz Ozollo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guatena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iraitz Ozollo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Abella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Guatena FC's zone, Senen Bobis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ihazintu Alborja came out of the goal and Senen Bobis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Muno Casavela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ihazintu Alborja having to interfere. Honrio Larrauri charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honrio Larrauri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Ireno Arizmendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galsino Ocasio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Senen Bobis came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ihazintu Alborja could save by the left post. Frasco Conchas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes, Guatena FC's Donato Bolas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remigio Abella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guatena FC reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iraitz Ozollo in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Abella saved Campeon FC from getting behind. Campeon FC's Galsino Ocasio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Demesio Malta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Campeon FC's Vitoria Alarid tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Muno Casavela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ihazintu Alborja having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iraitz Ozollo was the one to do the kick off. Remigio Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraitz Ozollo in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Muno Casavela notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Guatena FC's Ihazintu Alborja. Ihazintu Alborja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Iraitz Ozollo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Guatena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iraitz Ozollo couldn't finish the play. Raulo Santatis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 69 minutes, Raulo Santatis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raulo Santatis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Galsino Ocasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muno Casavela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iraitz Ozollo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guatena FC's goalkeeper Ihazintu Alborja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Senen Bobis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ihazintu Alborja having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
