Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giraldo Peñas started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Bittor Cesura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Policarpio Garza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Licanto's zone, Giraldo Peñas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Lijarco came out of the goal and Giraldo Peñas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Licanto's Felipe Lijarco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Licanto from getting a goal against them. Licanto's Sidro Ascarraga suffered a concussion in the 28th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Onbera Huelga fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pachingo FC's protests and gave Onbera Huelga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Licanto booed when Pachingo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onbera Huelga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Licanto's Clodoveo Ruilopez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurin Solbeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 37 minutes, Policarpio Garza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pachingo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Policarpio Garza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Clodoveo Ruilopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Diagur Gotor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Lijarco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giraldo Peñas's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Clodoveo Ruilopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Laurin Solbeida made a huge save. Licanto's Felipe Lijarco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giraldo Peñas in the 67th minute of play. If Giraldo Peñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Giraldo Peñas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pachingo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giraldo Peñas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Policarpio Garza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Lijarco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Licanto's Clodoveo Ruilopez got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giraldo Peñas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Licanto's Remigio Romarote got a free kick in the 88th minute. The Licanto players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
