Terigoganas's Isaio Rosello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Sandin in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Francisco Ferragudo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mermita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terigoganas the free kick. The supporters of Terigoganas booed when Mermita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Ferragudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Aostri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Iratze Agraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mermita's Iratze Agraña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mermita from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the game, one of Terigoganas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Mermita. Adrian Peral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isaio Rosello. 0-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Rodolfo Sandin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mermita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Sandin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaio Rosello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Sandin in the 34th minute of the match. Kiliz Bergas might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaio Rosello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kiliz Bergas ran back to his position shaking his head. Kiliz Bergas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaio Rosello having to interfere. The supporters of Mermita booed when Terigoganas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Mermita's Adrian Peral in action when he in the 46th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Kiliz Bergas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mermita's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiliz Bergas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaio Rosello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kiliz Bergas was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Terigoganas's zone, Rodolfo Sandin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaio Rosello came out of the goal and Rodolfo Sandin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iratze Agraña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cibran Robleda's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Cibran Robleda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iratze Agraña having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Rodolfo Sandin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Mermita booed when Terigoganas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Aostri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sol Ilarraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan-Carlos Rivera charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan-Carlos Rivera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kiliz Bergas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaio Rosello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Rodolfo Sandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaio Rosello having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Andres Vergas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Mermita's Kiliz Bergas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isaio Rosello. That made the score 0-2 after 86 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sol Ilarraza during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mermita's Sol Ilarraza got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Melquiades Corneja shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iratze Agraña showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cibran Robleda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iratze Agraña having to interfere.
