Canasumana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rueben Dawson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. BARCELONA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Goren Abreu scored to the left of an out of position Joachim Dubos, making the score, 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Boruc Laskowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arlo Balensuela. Canasumana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boruc Laskowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 20thth minute of the game Boruc Laskowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canasumana's Arlo Balensuela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arlo Balensuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etxepare Olivarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gero Arroniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Joachim Dubos made a huge save. Arlo Balensuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Quaresma in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, BARCELONA's Joachim Dubos got control of the ball when Gero Arroniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Tavio Bracero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Canasumana's Gero Arroniz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goren Abreu in the 40th minute of play forced BARCELONA's goalkeeper Joachim Dubos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gero Arroniz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joachim Dubos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joachim Dubos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goren Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boruc Laskowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Cabero came free, but Joachim Dubos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Basílio Quaresma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Dubos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goren Abreu in the 62nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Boruc Laskowski took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Arlo Balensuela to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goren Abreu in the 70th minute of play forced BARCELONA's goalkeeper Joachim Dubos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tavio Bracero's late challenge caught a BARCELONA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tavio Bracero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BARCELONA booed when Canasumana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tavio Bracero didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boruc Laskowski in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlo Balensuela saved Canasumana from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boruc Laskowski in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlo Balensuela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the game, Boruc Laskowski lined in a short shot 2-5 behind a frustrated Arlo Balensuela. In the 82nd minute, BARCELONA's Jaume Melgosa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jaume Melgosa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BARCELONA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jaume Melgosa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in BARCELONA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Canasumana. Palban Vizcaya stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joachim Dubos. 3-5. Rueben Dawson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Etxepare Olivarez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the BARCELONA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Etxepare Olivarez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gero Arroniz in the 92nd minute of play forced BARCELONA's goalkeeper Joachim Dubos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Gero Arroniz came free, but Joachim Dubos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlo Balensuela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Etxepare Olivarez went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BARCELONA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
