Virgen FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Ponc Buron scored to the left of an out of position Nestor Varo., making the score, 1-0. With his leg Nestor Varo. managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Tiquisio's Ponc Buron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ponc Buron got free with Nestor Varo. in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Virgen FC's goalkeeper Nestor Varo. had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ponc Buron. A collision led to Virgen FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Milian Velandia hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Valentin Mayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lugo Vecilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Mayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Tiquisio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ponc Buron to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Varo. made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ponc Buron in the 35th minute. Ponc Buron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Virgen FC's Milian Velandia got a free kick in the 41st minute. Nestor Varo. stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Piñeiro's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Piñeiro was the one to do the kick off. If Milian Velandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tiquisio's Lugo Vecilla got control of the ball when Valentin Mayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Varo. took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponc Buron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eutropio Bultes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Lugo Vecilla made a huge save. Nestor Varo. didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Piñeiro went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Virgen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ponc Buron came free, but Nestor Varo. reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Mayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Mayo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Lugo Vecilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virgen FC. Valentin Mayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lugo Vecilla having to interfere. Michel Victorero, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ponc Buron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vladimiro Piñeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lugo Vecilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eutropio Bultes in the 95th minute.
