The supporters of PIRATAS booed when Jabalcon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Alarcon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Romo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calisto Siruendo saved Jabalcon FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacifico Lisundia in the 24th minute of play forced PIRATAS's goalkeeper Terciero Torra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terciero Torra came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Jabalcon FC's Louis Matas. But to his dismay, Louis Matas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when Pacifico Lisundia came free, but Terciero Torra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jabalcon FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after PIRATAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anier Gatica took the corner. Terciero Torra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half.
