In the 4th minute of the match, Etxatxu Iribe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baudelio Dozal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Serafo Salamanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Criales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Carasa's late challenge caught a Chococito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurino Carasa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Majaval FC's Maurino Carasa got a free kick in the 18th minute. Marino Torquemada might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafo Salamanca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marino Torquemada ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marino Torquemada during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Majaval FC's zone, Marino Torquemada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafo Salamanca came out of the goal and Marino Torquemada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Chococito FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gora Clas hit a great ball. Hechter Morente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baudelio Dozal having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hechter Morente to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Raimundo Laiseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Majaval FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 58th minute Marino Torquemada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafo Salamanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hechter Morente struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Baudelio Dozal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Majaval FC. In the 90th minute, Chococito FC's Marino Torquemada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Hechter Morente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Majaval FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hechter Morente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baudelio Dozal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 97th minute of the match Gora Clas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gora Clas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
