With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leocadio Mexia in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Rutges saved Cararito FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Martinez Mendosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cararito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martinez Mendosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primo Andres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ekaitz Egusquiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The supporters of Arache booed when Cararito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seme Azcarate didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martinez Mendosa in the 94th minute of play forced Arache's goalkeeper Primo Andres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cararito FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cararito FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
