If Perez Mensa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turco's Ismael Sandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peru Velon in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Atletico Nacional's Paquito Ramon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Sandes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ioritz Sagasti spun around in front of the goal 21 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Turco's goal. Ismael Sandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitoria Briseño in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Turco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cibran Ameda to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Sandes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paquito Ramon. Perez Mensa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Atletico Nacional's Perez Mensa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Perez Mensa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Sandes having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ioritz Sagasti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Sandes. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. Turco's Ismael Sandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Turco from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Astigar Minguet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Munio Albo. Atletico Nacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astigar Minguet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
Paquito Ramon took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Sandes. Ismael Sandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 59th minute Paquito Ramon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Sandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Turco's goal looked a bit too open when Paquito Ramon came free, but Ismael Sandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turco's Ismael Sandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paquito Ramon in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Atletico Nacional's goalkeeper Munio Albo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astigar Minguet. 65 minutes into the match, Atletico Nacional's Perez Mensa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Sandes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ioritz Sagasti came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Atletico Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ioritz Sagasti couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Turco's Eladio Aviles got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Turco defense, Perez Mensa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Sandes. The Turco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Sandes should have stopped the shot. Ismael Sandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perez Mensa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Paquito Ramon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Sandes having to interfere. Eguntsenti Rotges kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Perez Mensa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Sandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perez Mensa, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atletico Nacional fully deserved thier win.
