After recieving a nice pass, FÉNIX FC Deus De Fútbol's Cleto Burell tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Tormes in the 31st minute of play forced Chelsea FC's goalkeeper Berenguer Vado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnson Noble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baudelio Cossa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chelsea FC's Berenguer Vado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Tormes in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, FÉNIX FC Deus De Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Deunoro Rujula came free, but Johnson Noble reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benvido Marmol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berenguer Vado having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
