In the 5th match minute, Tachira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaume Nuño to maneuver through the defense. Gabino Barrios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peio Porras came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Tachira FC's Gabino Barrios. But to his dismay, Gabino Barrios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fernando Gaviña in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zayvius Agustino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Esquipula Guismonde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esquipula Guismonde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Gabino Barrios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tachira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabino Barrios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabino Barrios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peio Porras having to make a save. In the 36th match minute, Tachira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Humara to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Gaviña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaven Pedroza struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Peio Porras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tachira FC. Peio Porras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabino Barrios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 46 minutes, Ramiro Alzorbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tachira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Alzorbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esquipula Guismonde to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Peio Porras managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Tachira FC's Xaven Pedroza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tachira FC's Xaven Pedroza got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabino Barrios in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peio Porras saved Bethania FC from getting behind. After 59 minutes, Carlo Gallinas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bethania FC and the Tachira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bethania FC's Carlo Gallinas got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Xaven Pedroza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabino Barrios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Peio Porras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peio Porras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabino Barrios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bethania FC's Peio Porras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Bethania FC from getting a goal against them. Carlo Gallinas was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Bethania FC's Carlo Gallinas got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabino Barrios got free with Peio Porras in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tachira FC played a much better game than Bethania FC and deserved their victory. The Bethania FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
