Bertin Limpias came out of the goal and Cordara Bolimburu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cordara Bolimburu might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertin Limpias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordara Bolimburu ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Tacueyo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Burutzagi Cañucal hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Mapiripana FC's Mingo Arganzua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chaime Balbanea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 31st minute Bernabel Saiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaime Balbanea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Araoz Olalde hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mingo Arganzua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cordara Bolimburu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertin Limpias having to interfere. Bertin Limpias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polo Marichal in the 40th minute of the match. If Cordara Bolimburu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertin Limpias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polo Marichal in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabel Saiz to make the kick off. Chaime Balbanea came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Mapiripana FC's Mingo Arganzua. But to his dismay, Mingo Arganzua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cordara Bolimburu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Bertin Limpias made a huge save. Polo Marichal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Polo Marichal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polo Marichal in the 73rd minute of play forced Mapiripana FC's goalkeeper Bertin Limpias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Mapiripana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Polo Marichal came free, but Bertin Limpias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Mapiripana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Polo Marichal came free, but Bertin Limpias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cordara Bolimburu got free with Bertin Limpias in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cordara Bolimburu struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Bertin Limpias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacueyo. Tacueyo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
