Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Menendo Ciriaca started the match with the kick off. If Menendo Ciriaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gauargi Viado charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gauargi Viado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pajuiles FC booed when Madrigal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gauargi Viado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Madrigal FC's Menendo Ciriaca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guter Vilaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Cibran Cadena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pajuiles FC and the Madrigal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Pajuiles FC got a freekick which was hit by Cibran Cadena. Hugo Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polo Saa in the 20th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Menendo Ciriaca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pajuiles FC's Guter Vilaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Menendo Ciriaca might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guter Vilaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Menendo Ciriaca ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Pajuiles FC defense, Joseph Arrascarate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guter Vilaro. The Pajuiles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guter Vilaro should have stopped the shot. Pajuiles FC's Guter Vilaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Pajuiles FC from getting a goal against them. Gauargi Viado got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 40th minute, Gauargi Viado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Arrascarate's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Guter Vilaro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Joseph Arrascarate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madrigal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Arrascarate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guter Vilaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Polo Saa was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Polo Saa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pajuiles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Polo Saa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Madrigal FC's Joseph Arrascarate got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 61 played minutes Pajuiles FC got a freekick which was hit by Ofelio Mallavia. Polo Saa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Polo Saa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pajuiles FC's zone, Ascencio Cosio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guter Vilaro came out of the goal and Ascencio Cosio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guter Vilaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Arrascarate in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Madrigal FC's Ascencio Cosio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th match minute, Pajuiles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ofelio Mallavia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Polo Saa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pajuiles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Polo Saa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Nueva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Polo Saa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hugo Nueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joseph Arrascarate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guter Vilaro having to interfere. Hugo Nueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cibran Cadena, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute of the match Pajuiles FC got a corner. Madrigal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pablo Echave ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Pablo Echave almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Madrigal FC's Hugo Nueva did a great save. Madrigal FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pajuiles FC for a fine match.
