Montay Escoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santxol Rebustillo in the 21st minute of the match. Fagondo Roces struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Montay Escoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlosama. Santxol Rebustillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Montay Escoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lico Bailey during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Palos Urraburu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carlosama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Palos Urraburu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 52nd minute, one of Carlosama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carlosama. The goalkeeper, Naelio Urizar, was totally fooled by Maciegas's Oton Sallas, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carlosama's goalkeeper Naelio Urizar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Maciegas's Damaso Catalan got a free kick in the 59th minute. Naelio Urizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtzi Jordo in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rio Segovia during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Montay Escoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fagondo Roces, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Urtzi Jordo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Presebal Yribarren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Urtzi Jordo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maciegas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Maciegas getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lope Vidanes hit a great ball. Montay Escoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fagondo Roces in the 95th minute of the match. Urtzi Jordo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naelio Urizar having to interfere. When the match was over Maciegas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carlosama throughout the match.
