Beat Coracera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Vivas having to interfere. If Beat Coracera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Dionisio Real got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venero FC's Vincent Vivas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Venero FC from getting a goal against them. When Viterbo's Orain Vialpando in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venero FC's goalie prevented a goal. Beat Coracera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. The referee ignored Venero FC's protests and gave Zuberoa Tramontes a yellow card for diving instead. Zuberoa Tramontes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Sidoro Rovira hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Lucila Bayon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Real in the 36th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orain Vialpando to make the kick off. Vincent Vivas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orain Vialpando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, Venero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pes Quejana to maneuver through the defense. If Orain Vialpando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Orain Vialpando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viterbo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orain Vialpando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, one of Venero FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Venero FC's Simao Aragones got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Coracera in the 75th minute of play forced Venero FC's goalkeeper Vincent Vivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venero FC's Vincent Vivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beat Coracera in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Viterbo's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Real came free, but Lucila Bayon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Beat Coracera managed to get in a good position for a shot.
