Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Palonegro's Obano Udobro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintyn Cayado in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Palonegro's goal looked a bit too open when Quintyn Cayado came free, but Obano Udobro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Gaizko Cemborain got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Txomin Forteza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Criston Inclan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Palonegro's goal looked a bit too open when Quintyn Cayado came free, but Obano Udobro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Manni Quesada got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Txomin Forteza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Criston Inclan skillfully saved the ball. After 15 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Gelmiro Parga. Ramirez Mandelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Criston Inclan made a huge save. Ur Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Obano Udobro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shepherd Balado's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Quintyn Cayado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Criston Inclan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Vives, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Santa Fe's Criston Inclan got control of the ball when Ipar Valines tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quintyn Cayado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Obano Udobro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quintyn Cayado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Polo Vives to make the kick off. Gelmiro Parga hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Oscar Mendibuey sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Criston Inclan skillfully saved the ball. Shepherd Balado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palonegro's goalkeeper Obano Udobro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Palonegro's goalkeeper Obano Udobro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quintyn Cayado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shepherd Balado in the 82nd minute of play forced Palonegro's goalkeeper Obano Udobro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Palonegro defense, Quintyn Cayado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Obano Udobro. The Palonegro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Obano Udobro should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Santa Fe getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gelmiro Parga hit a great ball. If Shepherd Balado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Santa Fe's Shepherd Balado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Obano Udobro. Obano Udobro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 95th minute, Quintyn Cayado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Santa Fe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Palonegro.
