Faron Costoya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Faron Costoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Trasmiera kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Pivigui's Jacob Sobremonte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tanio Prelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Faron Costoya scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tanio Prelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Pivigui's goal looked a bit too open when Evangelista Orcajo came free, but Seme Campanero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azules FC's Tanio Prelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Sobremonte in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Azules FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faron Costoya came free, but Tanio Prelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ximeno Irigoyen came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Azules FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximeno Irigoyen couldn't finish the play. Ximeno Irigoyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seme Campanero having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Evangelista Orcajo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seme Campanero. Pivigui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evangelista Orcajo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Ximeno Irigoyen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58thth minute of the game Evangelista Orcajo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pivigui's Seme Campanero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azules FC's goalkeeper Tanio Prelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julen Melo in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanio Prelo saved Azules FC from getting behind. Evangelista Orcajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ximeno Irigoyen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azules FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximeno Irigoyen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seme Campanero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pivigui booed when Azules FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Fandoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Naike Clavijo in the 81st minute really tested Tanio Prelo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Azules FC's Raymundo Pisciña got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Jacob Sobremonte's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tanio Prelo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 85 played minutes Azules FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentine Queto. Ximeno Irigoyen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seme Campanero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evangelista Orcajo in the 93rd minute of the match. Tanio Prelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Sobremonte in the 96th minute.
