Elia Toraño succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Mel Afonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mel Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Unai Arbulo having to interfere. If Arnaldo Teixido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 56th minute of the match Santacruz FC got a corner. Ceilan FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victorio Cerbera ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Victorio Cerbera got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Unai Arbulo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Unai Arbulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Teixido in the 57th minute of play. Unai Arbulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Arnaldo Teixido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceilan FC's Unai Arbulo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Teixido in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Unai Arbulo saved Ceilan FC from getting behind. If Arnaldo Teixido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Arnaldo Teixido made a precise shot to the right of Unai Arbulo. Ceilan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tello Horcasitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santacruz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tello Horcasitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unai Arbulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unai Arbulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mel Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Santacruz FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victorio Cerbera in the 94th minute. After taking down the ball on Santacruz FC's corner Victorio Cerbera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Unai Arbulo quite easily take care of the ball. Santacruz FC's Fix Mendiguren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Santacruz FC from getting a goal against them. If Arnaldo Teixido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Xantalen Carpio fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceilan FC's protests and gave Xantalen Carpio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 99th match minute, Ceilan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xantalen Carpio to maneuver through the defense. Unai Arbulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Teixido in the 100th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
