In the 7th minute Artal Ayerza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lizar Domaquia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artal Ayerza kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Iigo Mauleon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Resto Carrandi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Villamil in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Iigo Mauleon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DeportiVO RACHO 1927's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iigo Mauleon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Argina Quiroga fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Novilleros FC's protests and gave Argina Quiroga a yellow card for diving instead. Argina Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When DeportiVO RACHO 1927's Gines Pisciña in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Sein Danzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lizar Domaquia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Biñayo in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iigo Mauleon to make the kick off. If Iigo Mauleon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iigo Mauleon in the 56th minute of play forced Novilleros FC's goalkeeper Resto Carrandi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Iigo Mauleon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Resto Carrandi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gines Pisciña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Resto Carrandi having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Munio Zaballos got free with Resto Carrandi in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Novilleros FC's Resto Carrandi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Novilleros FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Gines Pisciña got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 75th minute, Argina Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Novilleros FC's goalkeeper Resto Carrandi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gines Pisciña. After 79 minutes Novilleros FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aristides Tarapiella who took care of the corner kick. Aristides Tarapiella made a great header on DeportiVO RACHO 1927's corner, it was just that Novilleros FC's Resto Carrandi managed to reach the ball for a save. Resto Carrandi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iigo Mauleon, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gines Pisciña succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 86th playminute.
