Ernest Tonhauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudentio Perdices in the 3rd minute of play. Moises Lastra was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Backspine's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Backspine defense, Ondino Lobera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Tonhauser. The Backspine fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Tonhauser should have stopped the shot. Prudentio Perdices took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Tonhauser. Ernest Tonhauser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 18th minute Moises Lastra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ostots Sereno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Sonvista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Lastra came free, but Ostots Sereno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Prudentio Perdices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 played minutes Backspine got a freekick which was hit by Zarando Sasiain. In the 30th minute of the match Naldo Escapa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernest Tonhauser skillfully saved the ball. In the 31st match minute, Sonvista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ondino Lobera to maneuver through the defense. Gonsalve Payva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Tonhauser having to interfere. Moises Lastra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ostots Sereno came out and tried to block the shot, but Moises Lastra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 45th minute. After the first half Sonvista FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Lastra to make the kick off. Gonsalve Payva kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gonsalve Payva struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ernest Tonhauser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonvista FC. After 57 played minutes Sonvista FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonsalve Payva. Timo Quexada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Tonhauser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sonvista FC's Prudentio Perdices got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuan Vidrio in the 63rd minute of play forced Sonvista FC's goalkeeper Ostots Sereno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zarando Sasiain fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Backspine's protests and gave Zarando Sasiain a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Backspine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zarando Sasiain to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Ondino Lobera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76thth minute of the game Chuan Vidrio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sonvista FC's Ostots Sereno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Moises Lastra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Backspine's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Lastra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ostots Sereno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Chuan Vidrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Moises Lastra made a precise shot to the right of Ostots Sereno. Sonvista FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Ernest Tonhauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudentio Perdices in the 85th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Backspine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutenio Candano to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Backspine's Ernest Tonhauser got control of the ball when Timo Quexada tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Timo Quexada sped through Backspine's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernest Tonhauser.
