Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Cachorro in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Che Vasaburu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes ATL Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Hernando Bañuelos. Andres Cachorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Che Vasaburu having to interfere. If Orland Villafuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Cachorro in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Che Vasaburu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 94 minutes into the game, Domiku Barrantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATL Nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canasumana FC the free kick. Domiku Barrantes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The ATL Nacional support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
