In the 21st minute of the match Nel Baraña sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chayo Canelas skillfully saved the ball. Inacio Sevane was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Camilo Abecia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camilo Abecia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Camilo Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inacio Sevane having to interfere. Matecañas FDC's Chayo Canelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquez Frera in the 34th minute of play. Chayo Canelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquez Frera, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Opilano Deaguero hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Camilo Abecia scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inacio Sevane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marquez Frera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquez Frera had several of the Matecañas FDC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Chayo Canelas as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Matecañas FDC's Ciro Nogal got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Marquez Frera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Matecañas FDC's goal looked a bit too open when Marquez Frera came free, but Chayo Canelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
